Cllr. Mrs. Charlene Adcock (St. Johns Ward) has lived in Enderby for 12 years and has two children, who attend schools in the Village. Charlene was a volunteer for the 'Friends of Enderby', Danemill Primary School (PTA), and chaired the committee for over 3 years raising funds for the school by approaching the local community to ask for donations, before stepping down. Charlene enjoyed her involvement with the school and its pupils, having also raised funds for additional equipment and educational resources. One of Charlene's personal achievements was to ensure all children within the school received a funded Christmas dinner so they could all eat together and enjoy the special time together (and this tradition has continued). Charlene works part-time for the NHS and has been employed by the University Hospitals of Leicester for 22 years. Charlene has joined the Parish Council to give something back to the local community and has recently been instrumental in the return of a Village Christmas Tree, as was Cllr. Nick Holt.
